This position is responsible for the picking up and delivery of laundry to and from different company properties. The role involves delivering dirty laundry to the laundry facility and clean laundry to the proper department, collecting soiled linen for laundry, and storing linen in housekeeping areas. Additionally, the position assists the housekeeping department by stripping beds and gathering dirty linens, delivering and stocking items purchased and received to the proper location, and maintaining storage areas on the property in a clean and orderly fashion. The employee will also report any items in the public areas that need maintenance repair to the Hotel manager/supervisor, attend all scheduled staff meetings, help maintain the housekeeping and laundry facility, use all chemicals as recommended by the manufacturer, and report any unsafe working and guest room conditions immediately to the Hotel manager/supervisor. The employee is expected to provide the highest level of professionalism when dealing with guests, recognizing and greeting each guest they come in contact with. Other duties may be requested by the manager/supervisor.
