Requirements
- Must have physical stamina to repeatedly lift 16 lb. bags of ice while bending for up to 12 hours daily.
- Must have physical stamina to lift and carry 50 lbs. up to 12 hours daily.
- Must have excellent customer service skills for interactions on the delivery route
- Must be punctual with a strong attendance record
Responsibilities
- Assisting with Loading and Unloading the Truck using Pallet Jack
- Comfortable riding in the Route Truck with the driver to customer locations to deliver bags of ice
- Assisting the driver at delivery stops by tossing ice from the back of an ice truck to the driver
- Keeping the trash and inside of the truck clean in between stops
- Assisting the driver in backing up at ice merchandisers
