About The Position
The driver’s helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day-to-day activities. this includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need. Essential Functions : Accurately load the daily route onto the truck Scan daily route onto the truck Assist driver with navigating to deliveries Assist driver with carrying freight to a business or residence destination Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
- Must possess good customer service skills
- High School or better
