About The Position

Assist driver in delivering a great customer experience while providing our customers with timely, accurate, friendly and efficient transport services with the delivery of food products to their destination Driver Helpers are responsible for all activities except the actual driving: loading and unloading items by hand or hand truck, contacting customers, collecting payments, keeping in touch with the main office, doing delivery paperwork

Requirements

Years: 1 YEAR
Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

Ability to meet deadlines on a timely basis
Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
Ability to operate Forklift, electric/manual pallet jack and hand truck.
Ability to operate the Liftgate
Lift, carry, pull, push up to 25 - 50 lbs.
Stand/walk – constantly
Reach above shoulder level – occasionally
Twist/Turn head – occasionally
Bend over/stoop – occasionally
Climb steps/ladder – occasionally
Kneel/squat – occasionally
Ensure complete order is loaded for delivery and safely secured in vehicle
Obey all traffic regulations and report any traffic incidents
Make timely and efficient deliveries
Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned
