Requirements

A High School diploma or GED.
Must have the ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs.
Required to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle.
Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and operate a handcart up and/or downstairs.
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit
Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear.
Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10
Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions

Responsibilities

Assists the commercial delivery driver with loading and unloading items, contacting customers, collecting payments, keeping in touch with the Transportation office.
Delivers of products using a handcart, ramp, and any other piece of equipment used in prompt, safe way that maintains the integrity of the product.
Prepares and completes of the appropriate paperwork including but not exclusive of the reconciliation report, driver log (when applicable), pre-trip mileage sheet, product and return sheet.
Learns and understands the appropriate invoicing and product return paperwork to accurately account for all products being delivered or returned.
Records of mileage and delivery time daily.
Maintains daily cleanliness of vehicle driven.
Attends all Transportation departmental meetings that have been stated as mandatory.
Presents a professional image to internal/external customers and vendors with appropriate dress according to the work situation while maintaining good grooming and hygiene.
