About The Position

The Driver's helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day to day activities. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need. The position is part of Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC, which handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing a strategic network of storage facilities. The company promotes a culture of honesty and integrity, valuing the trust built with customers and employees alike. No experience is needed as training will be provided. The shift schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
• Good customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience
• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area

Responsibilities

• Accurately load daily route onto the truck
• Scan daily route onto the truck
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries
• Assist driver with carrying freight into a business or residence destination
• Perform other duties as assigned
