About The Position

8Fleet is hiring a Driver Growth Associate to help build and improve how we attract and onboard drivers. This is not a traditional recruiting role. You won’t be interviewing drivers all day. Instead, you’ll focus on improving the systems and processes that bring drivers into 8Fleet — from where they first hear about us to when they complete onboarding and start driving. You’ll work closely with the Head of Growth and the team responsible for driver outreach and coordination. Your goal is to make our driver growth efforts more effective, more predictable, and easier to operate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, testing ideas, and seeing real-world results from their work.

Requirements

  • 1–4+ years of experience in growth, operations, recruiting operations, marketing, or a similar role
  • Comfort working with basic metrics and tracking progress across a process or funnel
  • A practical, hands-on mindset — you like improving how things work
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and keep projects moving forward
  • Clear communication skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with job boards, candidate outreach, or local lead generation
  • Familiarity with basic CRM, ATS, or tracking tools
  • Experience in logistics, gig work, or service-based businesses

Responsibilities

  • Help run and improve driver acquisition across channels like job boards, social media, referrals, and local partnerships
  • Turn driver demand into clear weekly and monthly goals, and help build plans to consistently meet them
  • Test and improve messaging, incentives, and outreach to increase driver interest and follow-through
  • Track how drivers move through the onboarding process and identify where people get stuck or drop off
  • Work with Operations to remove unnecessary steps, clarify expectations, and speed up onboarding
  • Provide clear guidance and structure to the team handling driver outreach and follow-ups
  • Help build repeatable processes so driver growth is less reactive and more predictable
  • Monitor early driver success and retention and use those insights to improve future hiring efforts
