About The Position
The position involves delivering products to various customers, including those in the Foodservice sector. The driver will operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring the timely delivery of products to stores. Responsibilities include ongoing rotation and stocking of products on store shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment. The driver will also build small displays and set up promotional materials, such as pricing signs and banners. Additionally, the role requires generating invoices and managing daily cash and charge settlements. Frequent interaction with store management and receiving personnel is necessary for load acceptance. The job entails physical demands, including lifting and loading cases weighing between 20-45 pounds repeatedly, and pushing or pulling loads ranging from 40-150 pounds occasionally. The driver must also perform tasks that require reaching, squatting, and bending while merchandising products in stores. Unloading pallets from the delivery vehicle will be done using an electronic pallet jack or a two-wheel hand truck, with products placed in designated areas in the store's backroom.
