About The Position

The Front Load Driver is responsible for servicing commercial customers by safely operating a front-load truck to collect and transport waste. This role requires precision in operating hydraulic equipment, navigating tight commercial environments, and maintaining high productivity and customer service standards.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
Valid DOT medical certification
Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in tight environments
Strong communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

1+ year of CDL driving experience
Experience with front-load or hydraulic equipment

Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong vehicle control, including backing, turning, and maneuvering in tight or congested environments
Comply with all applicable DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR)
Execute safe backing and maneuvering techniques, especially in tight enclosures and commercial properties
Report all safety concerns, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
Complete routes safely, on time, and in accordance with service and productivity expectations
Navigate high-density service areas including alleys, enclosures, and industrial sites
Maintain productivity standards and communicate service delays or issues to dispatch
Operate hydraulic lifting systems to service dumpsters (2–8+ yards)
Ensure containers are properly emptied and returned to designated locations
Identify and report unacceptable or hazardous materials in accordance with company guidelines
Provide professional service to commercial customers
Leave customer sites clean and free of debris
Communicate service-related issues or requests to operations
Represent the company professionally at all times while in the field
Complete DVIRs, route sheets, and service logs accurately
Maintain communication with dispatch and operations leadership throughout the shift
This role is responsible for the safe operation of equipment and adherence to all safety procedures in the field.
The Safety Department is responsible for training, policy development, and compliance oversight. Drivers are expected to follow all established protocols and participate in required safety training.
