Duties include greeting customers, answering questions, issuing ID cards, driver’s licenses, commercial driver’s licenses, and overseeing the testing of those licenses. There are multiple software programs that require attention to detail. You would be ensuring the safety and well-being of Montana citizens by confirming proper identification documents, successful completion of tests and determining when additional documentation is required. The incumbent must be willing and able to work outdoors in inclement weather. There will be day travel to other exam stations about 1-2 days a week and requiring the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
