About The Position

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of customer-owners. This position is crucial in serving a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with the Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population, which is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Valid Alaska Driver's license that meets State of Alaska DMV requirements.
• No more than three (3) moving traffic violations or two (2) at-fault traffic accidents in the previous three (3) years.
• Zero (0) violations in the past five (5) years.
• No more than two (2) violations in the past ten (10) years.
• Drivers must be at least 21 years of age to transport customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe transportation of customer-owners.
• Comply with all driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain a valid Alaska Driver's license and meet all DMV requirements.
• Provide a current copy of driving record prior to hire date.
• Obtain First Aid/CPR certification within six months of hire.
