About The Position

GlacierPoint Enterprises is a leader in the ice cream distribution industry, delivering frozen food, beverages, and other products directly to retail stores (Direct Store Delivery - DSD). The company operates in approximately 15 locations across several states including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and is rapidly expanding. This position is for a Non-CDL/CDL Driver based out of the Greensboro, NC facility. The role involves multi-stop direct to store delivery, servicing convenience stores, drug stores, and various other locations with ice cream and other frozen products.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A or B are welcome to apply
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in Route Delivery
• Meet the standard requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Highway Administration
• Have a safe driving record and a Clean MVR
• Ability to pass a Physical Capacity Test, Drug Screen and Background Check

Nice To Haves

• Direct Store Delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Be provided a daily run sheet after each shift, consisting of the stops to be made the next day, to allow for proper planning and timing
• Deliver product, including stocking, rotating, and placing products to shelf tag where applicable
• Utilize necessary safety equipment, required by the company, for your safety and the safety of others
• Practice proper lifting techniques while repetitively picking up product and stocking shelves
• Maintain good customer relations on a daily one-to-one basis
• Work an average of 10 – 12 hours per day, with the potential of overtime
• Count, pick, stock product
• Collect and count monies and turn in the daily paperwork and balance monies daily
• Verify PODs from each delivery
