The CDL Class A Program Director position in Marshall, TX, is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a passion for teaching and training. This role is designed for someone who has a strong background in commercial driving and management, and who is eager to lead and develop a program that prepares students for success in obtaining their Commercial Driver's License (CDL). The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the CDL program, ensuring that it meets educational standards and effectively prepares students for their careers in the commercial driving industry. As the CDL Program Director, you will provide leadership and subject matter expertise in curriculum development, revision, and implementation. You will engage directly with students, providing face-to-face training and support, and will play a crucial role in new student orientation. Your responsibilities will include hiring, training, and evaluating instructors, as well as convening regular meetings with faculty to discuss program improvements and student outcomes. In addition to managing the instructional staff, you will monitor student progress and provide guidance to those who may be struggling. This includes analyzing student data to identify at-risk individuals and offering support to help them succeed. You will also be involved in continuous improvement efforts, collecting data to assess program performance and collaborating with the academic team to enhance the curriculum based on feedback from students and advisory boards.
