About The Position

Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager or designee, will operate a bus or van carrying up to 18 passengers weighing under 26,000 lbs. while maintaining safe and on-time transportation of INSPIRA LIFE participants. This includes transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, medications, and any other transportation as deemed necessary. Responsible for overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned daily. Responsible for communicating any safety issue to the Transportation Manager, designee, or IDT. As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.

Requirements

High School Graduate/GED.
Valid NJ Driver’s license, proof of insurance and have a reliable means of transportation as described in Fleet Policy # TR 118.
CDL Class C or higher license with passenger endorsement.
Maintain a Safe driving record, as per fleet safety policy guidelines.
Must have a medical examiner certificate and recertify every two years.
Employees must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participants contact.
Follow all DOT guidelines, including required random drug and alcohol testing.
