About The Position

We are seeking a Driver/Concierge to perform concierge services and a driver that Provide quality transportation services for residents and guests and coordinates concierge services and serves as a member of a self-directed team that through their combined efforts provides: an extraordinary greeting to residents, family, and visitors of The Mather; exceptional, efficient customer service of concierge tasks; creative, positive planning and delivery of programming; safe, efficient and fun transportation. Creates meaningful moments in the lives of residents, visitors, and staff by demonstrating Nextraordinary behaviors. This position is part-time, hourly, weekend, and holiday availability required. the schedule for this position is: Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 8:30am-4:30pm, Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday 8:00am-4:00pm or 8:30-4:30. Availability to cover other days and shifts required.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Motor Coach, Non-business Type C or Type A with Passenger Endorsement drivers’ license with excellent driving record.
  • Customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • College or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with older adults.
  • Willingness to be part of a self-directed team.
  • Service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task.
  • MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport residents in Mather
  • Complete required vehicle safety inspections prior to each
  • Maintain vehicles, mechanically and aesthetically, according to maintenance schedule and as
  • Maintains a daily check log, service log, and other pertinent
  • Works to continually improve scheduling and transportation service to maintain on-time performance within a reasonable margin, weather permitting.
  • Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process.
  • Coordinates concierge schedule and daily
  • Maintains systems for secure storage and distribution of keys and key cards used by concierge and other experience centers.
  • Provides administrative support for the update, storage and distribution of directories, Concierge handbook, safety and emergency procedures, parking assignments, training materials and participation, and other documents necessary to provide exceptional and efficient concierge services.
  • Listens to resident concerns and requests; guides to existing solutions, communicates issues to appropriate experience centers; follow up to ensure positive and meaningful experiences for residents.
  • Maintains system to receive, record, store and distribute
  • Provides transportation reservation
  • Maintains daily check log, service log and other pertinent
  • Completes incident reports for emergencies; and feeds forward non-emergency information to to assure efficient communication between concierge, supervisors and other experience centers.
  • Ensures proper programming, resetting and functioning of emergency pendants; responds to pendant alarms; and monitors building entrances for safety/security.
  • Coordinates guest suite process to ensure exceptional experiences for guests including reservations, check-in and check-out, key cards and housekeeping; maintains calendars; sends reminders to experience centers and creates billing summaries for accounting.
  • Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process.
