About The Position

We are looking for responsible drivers to drive our residents to their various appointments, shopping and on fun social outings. We currently have a full-time position open for this wonderful sought-after role. You'll be driving in comfort and style in either our community's Volvo or our 14-passenger bus. No special driver's license required, but due to insurance coverage restrictions, you must be between the ages of 25 and 65. We’re seeking a qualified full-time Driver to schedule and provide transportation for our residents at The Ridge Senior Living Foothill on Tuesdays - Saturdays from 9:30am to 5:00pm. When you're not driving, you will be assisting our Community Life staff in leading activities for our wonderful residents. Requirements

  • Understanding that resident safety is paramount.
  • Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with a high level of energy and compassion.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Valid Utah driver's license and a good driving record. We will need a copy of your Utah driving record.
  • Due to insurance underwriting requirements - must be between the ages of 25 and 65 to drive the community's vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Operate property vehicle and bus safely to community live events, activities, daily outings and medical appointments.
  • Assist with the safe loading of residents on to and off of community vehicles.
  • Assist with Community Life activities during outings and when not driving the community vehicles.
