The Driver – Relief Combo CDL LC provides relief across all modes of delivery, Small Store, Full Service & Large Store routes. The responsibilities are dependent on the route assigned. The position requires a high degree of flexibility to cover open needs of the driver team, and the ability to work with a handheld device. Responsibilities include accurate accounting for all cases and customer transactions, ensuring proper care of product, equipment, and route settlement daily, and working in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success. The role also involves establishing positive relationships with all customers, providing superior customer service, and communicating any store level issues to management. Compliance with DOT rules for driving purposes is essential, as is maintaining rapport with customers and assisting with training and coaching of delivery merchandiser trainees.
