About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare Drivers are a core component of exceptional behavioral healthcare service delivery. Our drivers are the first face our patients see when entering our care, and they’re the last face our patients see when leaving our care. Drivers are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and safe, caring transport for all patients. They transport patients to and from clinical services, ancillary, and support services. Other responsibilities include vehicle cleaning and sanitation to ensure a safe transport environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Good communication skills to interact with all patients and staff.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Requires frequent extended transports.
Must be able to sit for long periods.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience in a hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Transports patients to and from behavioral healthcare services.
Maintains a safe environment for patients, self, and co-workers.
Communicates with the team, co-workers, and patients in a positive and professional manner.
Takes initiative to deliver the best customer service, even during times of stress.
Knowledgeable of all aspects and functionalities of the client transportation system.
Provides appropriate safety oversight and monitoring for all clients while in transport.
