Fulfillment Driver
About The Position
This position will be part of Jeni’s day-to-day operations team that delivers ice cream to our scoop shops and customers around the country. This person will drive a Jeni’s delivery truck to make pickups and deliveries at locations inside the Jeni’s network. This person will also assist the warehouse team in picking and packing orders. This person must embody talent, hustle, guts and a strong work ethic for the job. This position is a first shift position 7am- 3:30pm Monday – Friday with occasional overtime and weekends. Maintaining a class B CDL license is required.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a CDL B box truck
- Must be able to withstand working inside a freezer
- Must be able to safely work with dry ice
- Must be able to bend and safely lift up to 70 lbs
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn
- Must submit to a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Safely complete pickups and deliveries of ice cream and other items using Jeni’s box truck
- Inspect trucks prior to driving, shipping or receiving
- Receive ice cream and other items and provide supervisor with paperwork
- Accurately pick and pack merchandise for eCommerce orders
- Assist in building of pallets of material for shipping / storage
- Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Assist in counts and reconciliation of inventory
- Comply with food safety policies and procedures
- Create & ship shop orders in Jeni’s system
