About The Position

Mondelēz International/NABISCO is seeking a Driver CDL in Indianapolis, IN, to deliver products safely and efficiently to various stores and warehouses. This role is vital for ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction with quality products such as Oreo, Ritz Crackers, Triscuit, Sour Patch, and Swedish Fish. The position is represented by a labor union and emphasizes safety and compliance with all relevant regulations. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 10-12 hours per day, with a start time between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM, totaling 40-50 hours per week. Deliveries will primarily be within Indiana.

Requirements

Must have a CDL-Class A license and having at least two years of proven safe driving experience.
Have a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID (required for access to military base facilities).
Must successfully pass our drug test, MVR, and background check.
FMCSA's Clearinghouse Registration required.
Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD).

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of your equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to always guarantee safety.
Completes daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.
Delivering products safely and efficiently to various stores and warehouses.
Providing excellent support to key customers.
Using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
