About The Position

The Driver - CDL (Class A) position at Rain for Rent involves operating trucks to deliver and install liquid handling systems for customers. This role is crucial for customer service, requiring interaction with clients and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of equipment. The driver will also assist in the installation of various systems and maintain compliance with transportation regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Driver's license with an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record.
• 18 months of verifiable DOT truck driving experience.
• Basic knowledge of truck regulations/laws.

Nice To Haves

• Winch truck experience
• Experience with roll-offs and frac tanks
• Three to six months experience in general mechanic repairs.
• Experience with winch operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, including manual transmission vehicles.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment for delivery to customers or other branches.
• Assist field crew with unloading equipment and installing tanks, pumps, pipes, hoses, fittings, and filtration systems.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer or job sites where work is to be performed.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing as required.
• Keep accurate written records and work orders of all deliveries and pick-ups.
• Maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) driver's logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform required pre- and post-trip truck inspections and report any needed maintenance/repair to Branch Foreman in writing.
• Assist in installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment as requested.
• Complete paperwork in a timely, complete, and acceptable manner, including rental orders and drivers log.
• Perform minor emergency roadside repairs.
