Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy loads and long hours
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work conditions.
• Successfully pass a Pre-Employment DOT drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Transport construction materials and equipment to job sites in a timely and safe manner
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and schedule, including mileage and fuel usage
• Communicate effectively with project managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients when interacting on job sites
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.
