About The Position

Driver operates truck with flatbed trailer to customers to load / unload garbage carts.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of satisfactory driving experience of Class C vehicles preferred
• Must have a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with customers, dispatchers, mechanics and other drivers
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
• Excellent driving skills
• Computer Skills: Basic use of Tablets and Applications
• Pass drug screen and criminal background check
• Successfully complete and pass a written and road test
• Meet all Federal & State DOT requirements

Nice To Haves

• Air Brake endorsement a plus
• Flat Bed Trailer experience desired

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle to deliver garbage carts to customer and pick up customer returns
• Navigate a variety of routes, entering and exiting the truck multiple times throughout delivery area
• Follow proper delivery procedures and instructions
• Make local deliveries to customers
• Load and unload garbage carts into flatbed trailer
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone
• Accurately count and deliver orders
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicle
• Other duties as required
