About The Position

Texas Wood Supply is a Manufacturing Hardwood Moulding Company that operates 7 retail stores and 3 production sites throughout Texas. We are looking for a Driver Assistant with a positive attitude and sense of urgency. The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a team environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Texas Class C Driver's License required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Able to Operate GPS
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and more than 50 lbs. with assistance
Perform repetitive tasks
Sit or stand for extended periods.
Basic computer and math skills required.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist company drivers with the deliveries
Load and unload delivery trucks
Contact customers to confirm delivery details
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance inspections
Verify delivery confirmation
May be required to drive the company vehicle as needed
Perform general warehouse tasks. Including: receiving, organizing, and storing inventory
Assist in the assembly and production of door components as part of the manufacturing process
Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently
May be required to drive company vehicle as needed
Other duties as assigned
