Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved. Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops. Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system. Requires up to 4 overnights per week based on routes Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures. Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies. Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner. Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager. Regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis. Candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Understand, read, and write English
  • Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (as needed)
  • Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with hazardous materials
  • One or more years related experience
  • Knowledge OSHA Regulations.
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures
