About The Position

Vascor is offering you the opportunity to join our team where you will become an asset to the service we deliver to our customers every day. We are looking for a full-time Driveaway Shuttle Driver/Porter to assist with delivering customer vehicles to various locations We have 2 shifts available: 1st shift 7:00 am-5:30 pm and 2nd shift 8:00 pm-2.30 am. Must be available to work weekends. What does Vascor have to offer? Requirements

  • Must have a valid operator’s license
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Basic driving skills

Responsibilities

  • Ability to drive an automatic and standard transmission vehicle.
  • Work in all weather conditions, including rain and snow.
  • Transport new vehicles on public roads (from one yard compound to another).
  • Strong focus on safety and alertness.
  • Variety of work driving many types of cars and models
  • Perform inspections on vehicles prior to moving them to ensure all damage is noted and reported to the Van Lead.
  • Alert Van Lead of any damages and unusual or reoccurring faults with vehicles.
  • Responsible for all VASCOR-assigned equipment. (In Transit Plates and Placards)
  • Adhere to all Rules of the Road, which includes obedience of all speed limits.
  • While in the VASCOR storage yards, comply with all safety-related recommendations.
  • Advise Van Lead if a vehicle is low on gas, has a flat tire, or has dead batteries.
