About The Position

A front-line drive-thru team member committed to serving guests in a safe, all-weather environment. Since the late 1980s, the Dwarf House has provided customers with a historical perspective on Chick-fil-A. Modeled after founder Truett Cathy's first restaurant, the Dwarf House offers sit down, counter and drive-thru service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers a typical Chick-fil-A menu, plus specialty items including Green Beans, Fried Okra, Cornbread and Chicken Salad.

Requirements

Able to maintain positive energy throughout shift with a customer-friendly demeanor and willingness to serve
Able to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects, as needed
Able to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency in getting things done
Able to think ahead and anticipate problems before they happen
Willing to work a flexible schedule and arrive to work at the schedule time
Demonstrates unquestionable integrity

Responsibilities

Welcomes guests & smiles as they enter the drive thru
Answers guest questions, offers recommendations, and provides general assistance to guests
Input order accurately into the handheld tablet
Repeat and clarify order details
Process payment accurately
Provide clear direction for guest's next step
Ensures orders are complete and delivers food to guests
Maintains adequate stock of supplies
Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
Cleans various areas of the restaurant
Other duties and responsibilities as directed by restaurant management
