We're looking for a Drilling Technician to join our Geotechnical Engineering team in Tampa, FL. This is a great opportunity to learn some new skills while working directly with our experienced Drilling team! Daily operations will include geotechnical and environmental drilling throughout the greater Tampa Bay area. Occasionally you could have the opportunity to assist with environmental sampling and monitoring well installation projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Solutions Analysis: Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional inquiries. Involves following procedures and precedents. Improvement/Innovation: Support others by implementing improvements and carrying out simple change management tasks. Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others. Performance Management: Ensure work is completed to the required standards of quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Good mechanical troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working in an outdoor environment
Able and willing to travel overnight and perform field work, travel expenses covered
Must have valid Driver License with acceptable violation history
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
