Doyon Drilling Inc. (DDI) operates on the North Slope of Alaska with unique oil and gas land drilling rigs and camps specially designed to operate in extreme Arctic conditions. The employee will oversee the overall operations of company facilities in the field by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors; manages all personnel supervise the daily operation of each specific drilling rig; also supervises personnel who may work at other locations on a temporary basis; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Doyon Drilling Inc. policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining and discharging employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. The drilling superintendent manages oil and gas well drilling, completion, work over, and support operations in a safe, environmentally responsible manner by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
