About The Position

We are seeking multiple Drilling Safety Consultants to support onshore drilling operations across the US . These consultants will serve as trusted field partners to drilling and operations teams, helping ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with a unique safety philosophy.

Requirements

• 8 – 12+ years of experience in drilling safety, operations safety, or well construction support
• Strong understanding of onshore drilling operations and contractor ‑ led execution
• Experience supporting drilling programs in one or more conventional and non-conventional onshore shale plays.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in fast ‑ paced, field ‑ driven environments

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting multi ‑ basin drilling programs
• Familiarity with Human Performance / HOP frameworks
• Background in contractor safety oversight or drilling operations leadership

Responsibilities

• Provide on ‑ site safety leadership for drilling and associated well construction activities
• Support safe execution across multiple basins and drilling programs
• Act as a safety resource for: Rig crews Drilling supervisors Contractor leadership
• Participate in and influence: Pre ‑ job planning and risk assessments JSAs and PTW reviews SIMOPS planning and execution
• Apply Safety concepts to: Identify and reduce error ‑ likely situations Improve work processes and system defenses Encourage learning from everyday work and near misses
• Conduct field safety observations and provide constructive, real ‑ time feedback
• Support incident and learning investigations focused on what allowed the event , not who made the mistake
• Help align contractor safety behaviors with owner expectations and values
