About The Position

As a Drilling Assistant at UES Professional Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting drillers and department managers in various drilling operations. This position involves classifying and maintaining soil samples, preparing equipment for projects, and ensuring accurate documentation of drilling activities. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites and to drive a company vehicle.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Outdoor work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a drilling assistant, field/engineering technician, construction or related experience.
• Active Commercial Driver's License (class B minimum).
• OSHA 10-hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Travel safely to various job sites in a company provided vehicle and maintain the vehicle.
• Assist driller/drill team with performing drilling services and well installations by operating drilling equipment.
• May operate miscellaneous drilling equipment including rods and augers.
• Communicate daily with the Driller Crew Chief and Department Managers.
• Clean trucks and drill rigs, and prepare equipment for upcoming projects.
• Complete accurate and detailed boring logs and update existing logs as needed.
• Perform manual labor by assembling, operating, and disassembling equipment.
• Complete and prepare accurate and detailed field reports on a daily basis.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
