About The Position

Peerless-Midwest, Inc. (PMI) is seeking an experienced driller to join their team in the water drilling industry. The role involves developing skills in various aspects of water supply contracting, including drilling operations, equipment handling, and job site procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (preferred).
• Prior drilling experience (preferred, but willing to train).
• Welding skills (preferred, but not required).
• Flexibility to travel and work out of town as projects require.
• Strong desire to learn drilling operations and equipment handling.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with top head drive mud rotary drilling rigs.
• Knowledge of hydrogeologic studies and water treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs and equipment for water well and fire protection well drilling services.
• Handle job site procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Travel and work out of town as required for projects.
• Participate in hydrogeologic studies and well construction activities.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of pumping equipment and water treatment systems.
