About The Position

The position involves providing semi-skilled labor-intensive assistance across a wide spectrum of drilling operations, ensuring efficiency and safety. The operations may include core, sonic, rotary, or percussive drilling rigs. The role includes the operation of simple equipment and machinery, maintaining the general condition of site equipment and tools, and ensuring the correct alignment and depth of drilling operations. Additionally, the position may involve training new drillers in a safe environment and performing surveys according to client specifications.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides semi-skilled labor-intensive assistance across various drilling operations.
• Operates simple equipment and machinery as required.
• Maintains the general condition of site equipment and tools.
• Ensures correct alignment with front and back sites, offsets, and depth.
• Sets the drill at the correct angle for operations.
• May train new drillers in a safe environment.
• Performs surveys according to client specifications.
