Requirements

• Must possess Class A CDL
• High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred
• Mechanical ability (operator, repair, maintenance, welding, etc.) - Required
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math
• Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments

Nice To Haves

• No experience required
• Some heavy equipment, drilling, and/or construction related field experience - Preferred
• CDL license - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating a drill rig and performing test borings
• Ensure safety is always prioritized
• Obtain soil and rock samples from test borings using proper collection/handling methods
• Install monitoring wells, piezometers, and inclinometers
• Prepare boring logs and field reports
• Perform drill rig and support vehicle maintenance
• Communicate effectively with clients, owners, and drill operators/supervisors
