Drier Operator I
About The Position
The basic function(s) of this position is to dry and supervise the drying and procuring of rice, maintain the day-to-day operations of the drier, regulate shipping and deliveries; monitor space in units; and keep management informed of drier progress and problems in a timely manner. Physical duties include - shoveling, cleaning, climbing, lifting. Inspecting bins and product and communicating issues in a timely manner to Drier Manager and/or District Manager. Be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to work in a dusty environment. Be able to work overtime, including weekends, during harvest season and as requested by Drier Manager and/or District Manager. Some maintenance work will be needed. Perform other job duties as assigned by Drier Manager and/or District Manager.
