The dredge/towboat deckhand will perform all general labor type work and duty required to safely operate and maintain the dredge and towboat as directed by supervisor. Duties will include but are not limited to: Dredge, barge, and towboat housekeeping Handling lines and cables for barges and anchors Maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment Chipping and painting Maintenance of all safety equipment Work will be performed on a dredge on the Arkansas River, being done primarily above or adjacent to water.
