SLATE is looking for an energetic, organized Body Systems Design Intern to join our growing team. The Body Systems Intern will be responsible for supporting the development of the body-in-white (BIW) and related structures across the organization.

Requirements

• Ability to contribute to design teams through the integration of related sub-systems into the body structure.
• Ability and desire to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of an energetic team that is challenging the status quo of vehicle design.
• Support the design and development of body system components and complete assemblies.
• Develop and implement functional objectives to meet project performance targets.
• Assist in managing all aspects of body component development, including performance, cost, mass, timing, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including suppliers, to meet project requirements.
