The Drayage Management Staff position involves monitoring and managing the drayage process of shipment movement, including receiving Arrival Notices and ISF information before the port arrival of vessels, creating and sending delivery orders, and managing relationships with selected drayage carriers. The role requires urgent communication in case of emergencies and the ability to find alternative drayage carriers when necessary. The staff member will also share daily container delivery schedules with drayage carriers, analyze and track select logistics service providers, and drive improvements to customer service goals such as on-time delivery and product lead-times. Monthly reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for drayage deliveries is also required, along with documenting corrective actions and improvement plans. Ad-hoc reporting and other job-related duties may be required as well.
