About The Position

Paramount Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Drayage Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Rancho Cucamonga. This role plays a key part in coordinating import and export drayage operations for containerized cargo. The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding or drayage, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring accurate shipment tracking, documentation, and on-time delivery. Please note that this position will start in Rancho Cucamonga and transition to West Covina in late Q1.

Requirements

  • Freight Forwarding: 1 year (Required)
  • Basic computer skills (E-mail, Web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Fluency in English (Verbal & Written), Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is a plus
  • Excellence customer service with troubleshooting ability

Responsibilities

  • Receive A/N and delivery order with data entry
  • Track shipment from SSL & Terminal on releasing status, and CBP exam if any
  • Provide shipment update to the customer - shipper and consignee
  • Coordinate with dispatcher and receiver to arrange the delivery, with troubleshooting issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare and review freight invoice with proper documents
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Communicate with customers while providing exceptional customer service
  • Request quotations for shipments, schedule trucking deliveries
  • Keep accurate shipment records
  • Utilize own research, relationships, experience, problem-solving, and analytical skills to bring in potential customers
  • Other duties assigned by team leader
