About The Position

We are hiring a dependable and safety-focused Company Drayage Driver for local
container moves based out of Wilmington, IL. This is an hourly, home-daily
position operating on an afternoon/evening shift, with hours based on customer
and terminal demand.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A License
• TWIC Card (required or ability to obtain)
• Minimum [2–3] years of professional driving experience
• Clean or acceptable MVR
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check
• Strong communication and time-management skills

Nice To Haves

• Drayage or intermodal experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-assigned tractor and chassis
• Pick up and deliver intermodal containers between rail terminals, customer facilities, and local yards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor, chassis, and container
• Properly secure containers using locks, seals, and twist locks
• Follow terminal appointment times and access procedures
• Accurately complete ELD logs and required paperwork
• Communicate delays, equipment issues, or load changes to dispatch
• Comply with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws
• Return empty containers and equipment as directed
