We are currently seeking a highly organized and results-driven Drawback Advisor . The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing duty drawback claims, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in duty drawback
  • 8 years experience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (Preferably a licensed broker)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to client issues.
  • Ability to support and contribute to sales efforts and business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a set of clients, ensuring satisfaction and providing proactive communication regarding their duty drawback needs. Collaborate with clients to resolve any issues, answer inquiries, and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the timely and accurate filing of duty drawback claims, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies. Manage the operational aspects of the drawback process, including documentation preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • Sales Support: Occasionally collaborate with the sales team to support the promotion and sales of duty drawback services to potential and existing clients. Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and records of all duty drawback activities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files. Provide regular reports on performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency to management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance client satisfaction. Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the service offering.
