About The Position

We recruit highly skilled individuals for a variety of disciplines in the construction field. Qualified applicants will have experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway, or Bridge Projects. Reviews estimates and understands costs and production, and schedules before starting Responsible for jobsite drainage and Utility operations, including onsite activities of subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and their representatives, and others as may be assigned within the area of responsibility. Establishes, coordinates, and implements construction schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements. Ensure construction per plan requirements. Maintain accurate reporting records, including job quantities, time sheets, and daily management reports. Other Understand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations. Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries. This is a field-based role. The employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. The position lifts heavy objects, walks, and stands for long periods of time, and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina. This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work. Average +/-50 hours per week. The role requires some travel. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of drainage Superintendent experience.
  • Prior knowledge and extensive experience in all phases of drainage/utility construction operations relating to field activities of engineering disciplines, construction technologies, and jobsite management.
  • Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment
  • Prior experience on large infrastructure projects with significant drainage and mass grading elements
  • Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently
