About The Position
CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Drainage Engineer - Highway to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Highway & Rail Team at our office in Rocky Hill or Hartford, CT; Norwell, MA; Providence, RI; or Keene, New Hampshire. The Drainage Engineer - Highway performs drainage design including calculations, technical reports and design plans for civil and transportation projects, including hydrology, stormwater management, pipe capacity, swales, gutter spread, culverts, bridge hydraulics, and scour analysis. The individual in this role works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements. The Drainage Engineer - Highway develops conceptual and detailed designs using current CAD programs and drainage software; consults and collaborates with design teams and project managers for project development, design, and delivery; works closely and coordinates with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects; and prepares high quality deliverables that are on time and within budget and scope. Additionally, the individual in this role completes field assignments when appropriate.
