First year Roto-Rooter drain service technicians can expect top-pay, earning $55,000, on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience earning on average between $60,000-$75,000 a year. Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training is available if you want to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a journeyman plumber’s license. Experienced Journeyman Plumbers at Roto Rooter earn between $100,000 and $150,000 working 40 hours per week!

Responsibilities

• Inspect drains and sewer lines to diagnose problems.
• Identify blockages, leaks, or other problems within the customer’s drainage system.
• Clear obstructions with your Roto-Rooter drain cleaning machines and tools.
• Educate the customer throughout the process to help them understand what caused their blockage and how to prevent future problems.
