POSITION PROFILE Receive, record, and expedite all in orders while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement / maintenance of property standards and profit maximization.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • Three - Six months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
  • Must have vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, written instructions and to observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions.
  • Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
  • Able to read, speak and understand English. to management, staff and guests.
  • Tips Certification required.
  • Communicate information and hotel services

Responsibilities

  • Take orders and payment for outlet specific orders communicating with guest daily specials, in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure top quality guest service.
  • Process guest checks and perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel's operating policies and procedures.
  • Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales.
  • Report all communications to immediate shift supervisor.
  • Check with guest to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
