About The Position

The Dragline Operator is responsible for performing all operational duties related to dragline equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves underwater sand and gravel extraction, site preparation, and preventative maintenance of the dragline. The operator will work primarily in sand and gravel pits, collaborating with a team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dragline operations.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain Dragline mobile equipment.
• Ability to work well in a team and in minimally supervised settings.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, various shifts, and overtime as directed.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Previous welding and cutting experience is a plus.
• Experience with haul trucks, loaders, and various mining equipment is preferred.
• Part 48 MSHA training is required.
• Local 150 membership is preferred.

Responsibilities
