About The Position

The Draftsperson / AutoCAD Technician will produce detailed utility design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, integrate ArcGIS datasets, and support ongoing efforts in IREN’s renewable-powered data center facilities. Requirements

Associate degree or higher in Drafting/CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
3+ years drafting experience in construction, utility, or industrial projects (data center/civil preferred)
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required);general AutoCAD experience essential
Experience interpreting and integrating ArcGIS datasets and other data formats
Self-driven individual, with attention to detail and ability to execute high-quality work with limited direction.
On site or Regular field visits arerequired. Relocation options available.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed utility design drawings using AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
Own andmaintainsite Utility Record drawings.
Interpret and integrate various data formats, including ArcGIS datasets, into design workflows
Prepare, revise, andfinalizetechnical drawings for internal and external use.
Support engineering teams and project/construction managers on operation and expansion initiatives.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and applicable codes
Maintain organized documentation and version control for all design files
