About The Position

Draftsman/Estimator Bierschbach Equipment & Supply is a regional provider of construction equipment and supplies dealing primarily in the construction industry. We are a dependable, well-established company that’s been in business for more than 45 years. Successful candidates will have a track record of strong performance in the construction industry preparing quotes and supporting drawings for materials used in the construction of highways, utilities, bridges/structures, and commercial/agricultural buildings (including formwork/foundations and related construction supplies). Projects may span multiple states, so strong organization and the ability to manage bid timelines are important. We are seeking a proactive team-player who maintains the high standards of Bierschbach Equipment & Supply and represents us in a professional and effective manner. This position will require a customer-focused individual, who understands the importance of relationship building and executing against project parameters and timelines. Requirements

• Hands-on experience and overall familiarity with the construction industry and its equipment and supplies
• Experience drafting and estimating from plans/specifications, including revisions/addenda
• Excellent problem-solving, customer relations, and time management skills are a must in this position
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate clearly with sales/operations/vendors to resolve questions and keep bids on track
