Curries (an ASSA ABLOY branded company) is expanding our Product Engineering Team. This role will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Mason City, Iowa. You will develop manufacturing drawings from hardware templates, elevation drawings and drawing requests as well as create product literature drawings, maintain production databases and collaborate with various departments to answer drawing and product questions.

Requirements

Associates Drafting degree or equivalent with CAD experience preferred.
Ability to read hardware templates, drawings, and follow guidelines to create manufactured drawings.
Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
A dynamic team player who participates and works collaboratively with others.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of SolidWorks and PDM Software plus previous related work experience is preferred.
Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Create designs and drawings from hardware manufacturer’s templates, sketches, and engineering guidelines to support orders in a quick-turnaround environment.
Create and modify drawings per requests from Manufacturing, Engineering and Customer Service.
Contact hardware manufacturers by email and telephone to resolve questions.
Provide designs and drawings for fixturing to aid manufacturing.
Document changes and answers to questions as required.

Perform other duties as required.
