About The Position

The Drafter will serve as an integral member of the Production team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

Requirements

  • Must possess one of the following: High School Diploma/GED and a Drafting Certificate with 0-5 years of drafting experience (Civil, Electrical, Manufacturing or Mechanical Drafting); or Associate degree in one of the aforementioned drafting disciplines; or Currently enrolled in the final semester of an Associate’s Degree program for one of the aforementioned drafting disciplines
  • Basic Microsoft proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD 2D & 3D, or comparable drafting software is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a large group environment
  • The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 3D AutoCAD modeling and layer management, process piping (pipeline, well pad and facility), and gas processing plants (Dehy, Separators, Compressor stations, etc.) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create P&ID drawings and parts list from completed drawing packages
  • Revise/reprint redline edits collected from the field
  • Complete as built drawing revisions based on field edits and field visits
  • Create detailed drawings based on general arrangements and layouts
  • Read and edit existing mechanical drawing sets and work onsite to create mechanical drawings as necessary from existing pads/facilities
  • Organize and maintain a structured document filing system
  • Maintain an active database for historical builds for ease in pulling drawings as needed
  • Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrates active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
